On the afternoon of December 23rd, Cumberland Fire Control dispatched a first alarm assignment to 350 Bryant St. for a reported building fire. While the companies were en route, dispatch reported police on the scene with smoke showing. Engine 12 and Truck 1 arrived on scene a confirmed a working fire. They encountered a fire in a garage of a 1 1/2 story wood-frame single family dwelling. The fire was quickly knocked down by the first due units and the remainder of the first alarm assignment assisted with checking for extension, overhaul, and ventilation.
