Fire at 340 Waterman Ave. fire was confined to a machine and held in check by the sprinkler system. Companies had heavy smoke showing on arrival from the 3 story mill. The smoke condition made it difficult for the firefighters to locate and extinguish the fire. One firefighter was injured and transported to a local hospital. Mutual Aid was called in from North Providence and Johnston to the fire scene. Cumberland, Gloucester, and Lincoln provided station coverage.
