At 1:33pm on Friday August 31, 2007, Cumberland Fire Dispatch struck a first alarm to 3 Abbott Run Valley Road for a reported structure fire. E-54 the first due engine arrived on scene moments later and confirmed that this was a small fire in a shed away from the house that was being extinguished by the homeowner. E-54 stretched an 1 3/4" attack line and finished extinguishing the fire. All other first alarm companies were canceled with exception to E-22. E-22 assisted E-54 with overhaul and all units cleared within a half hour.
